“I would never have thought to do something like this if my friend hadn't dragged
(yes dragged) me along, I'm not the smallest of people and I just didn't think it
would be my cup of tea, but how wrong could I be. I LOVE IT!!!!!!. It really is true,
it suits any size. I'm so glad I went now, won't be giving this class up!!!!. Thanks
to all the girls who have helped me achieve so much in such a short space of time,
you're all superstars.” Helen

Oh my word,,,,

How I wish I came across pole-da-cise years ago. Admittedly it was not my idea to
join, it was a friend's, I wanted to do Salsa classes, I can't be thankfully enough
for giving it ago. I also admit that I too was small minded in thinking it wouldn't
be to difficult acting all sleazy n sexually around a pole, what a slap in the face
I got, I couldn't of been more further from the reality of what fun it is, how much
core strength you need and build up from doing it, and the post ions and elegance
that some people can get themselves into have me dumb founded and in awe with admiration.
But just as equally the determination of being able to get into those moves myself,
and with the help from the instructors, their knowledge and there determination to
pass on there skill to us, I can truly say we are blessed to have them teach us.
No matter how little confidence one has, I can 100% say you will not feel intimidated
by anyone, but even from the people you may never have met are full of support in
encouraging you and applauding you of achievements of learning the different moves.
If I could rule the world I'd make it compulsory to attend pole classes, not only
for the fun factor, but for fitness and the stamina it builds as well as the overall
toning of ones body, from the zero to plus sizes I've noticed the muscles and pert
asses the ladies possess that do pole, after only 12 weeks I can safely say I've
never had a butt as good as I do now, even in my teenager years I could still do
the pencil test, (where butt cheeks to thigh holds onto a pencil/pen) but not no
more, :-D But even more rewarding is seeing all that attend a class leave with a
big smile on there face.

“I started my pole journey back in sep 2009 with a friend, she dropped out last year
and I carried on. It is a way of meeting new people, it also helps you build self
confidence. I have gained great fitness and strength over the past few years and
have met some great people. The instructors are amazing and make you feel relaxed,
they are all very supportive, help and guide you when it is needed. I have done pole
art with Shelly and this is great it gives you an opportunity to have photos of you
on a pole doing the moves which you can do. The cabarets are an experience and you
get such a buzz from doing them and it is a way for family and friends to see what
you do at your best.” Beckie G xx

Keep fit with fun!

If you are like me, and get bored with exercise easily then why not try pole based
fitness? Great for cardio workout and working all core muscle groups It's a fun and
addictive way to keep fit. Pole-da-cise run classes for all levels with trained instructors,
who are not only brilliant, but lovely too! I would recommend this to anyone, no
matter of age, size or fitness level!!
