Who attends Pole-Da-Cise?
Women of all ages ranging from 17 to 60! If you are 16 or 17 you may need permission from a parent or carer.
What kind of music do you dance to?
It's not all RNB we have a wide range of music which is constantly being updated. New and old tunes, classical and dance. Something for everyone.
What kind of moves & spins will I learn?
We are currently working on cataloguing all the moves and spins taught. This is a long process as every week our instructors improve and add to combinations and spins. Best thing to do is if you have any ideas on new moves you would like to learn come and talk to Lisa. New members start as beginners move up to intermediate and on to advanced these different levels allow the instructor to give you moves and spins that are safe for you to learn and attempt un-aided.
Am I too old?
Never too old, there is nothing stopping any group from joining a class, you get out of it a great sense of achievement what ever your age or ability.
How much is it?
A course of 4 hour long lessons with one pole all to yourself for that whole hour is an amazing £40. Most pole schools charge the same but you have to share a pole! Which we find dis-heartening and also dangerous as you need to stay warmed up to attempt any form of exercise.
What do I have to wear?
You wear what you feel comfortable in. We do not recommend heels, bare foot flat boots or trainer/jazz shoes are best. We do say not to wear just socks as this is dangerous on the wood flooring. We suggest shorts and a T-shirt. Don’t buy expensive footwear as you will find that using them on the pole may cause alot of wear and tear.
